Dr. Iammarone primarily handles infertility treatments. She conducts consultations at her practices in Rome and Pescara, including analysis review, 3D transvaginal pelvic ultrasound, and uterine artery flowmetry.
She performs 3D uterine cavity examinations (hysterosonography) and tubal patency HyCoSy tests (sonohysterosalpingography).
Elisabetta utilizes various types of Assisted Reproduction techniques such as: ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization techniques IVF/ICSI, preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGT-A/PGT-M), egg donation, and sperm donation.
She also carries out menopause, therapy with nutraceuticals, and/or hormone replacement therapy.
Vaginal rejuvenation treatments are carried out using the VagyCombi machine.

ASSISTED REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES PERFORMED

First-Level Techniques
First-level techniques include intrauterine insemination (IUI).
The seminal fluid is processed in the laboratory and introduced into the uterine cavity at the time of ovulation.
The sperm from the male is placed in the uterine cavity while monitoring the woman′s ovulation.
The goal is to facilitate the spontaneous meeting of the gametes within the female body.
This technique can be performed during a natural cycle or with pharmacological stimulation of ovulation.
Second Level
Homologous Treatments
  • IVF/ICSI
In vitro fertilization with the IVF or ICSI technique involves ovarian stimulation with ultrasound monitoring and hormonal assessments, transvaginal ultrasound-guided egg retrieval under sedation, in vitro fertilization, and embryo transfer into the uterine cavity. Excess embryos, if any, can be frozen.
    • PGT Genetic Testing (PGT) is a technique that allows for the detection of chromosomal abnormalities and/or genetic diseases in embryos before they are transferred to the uterus.
    Heterologous Treatments
    • Egg Donation Heterologous fertilization with egg donation is an assisted reproduction technique in which eggs from a donor are fertilised with the partner′s sperm, and the embryo is transferred into the recipient′s uterus. Any excess embryos are frozen.
    • Sperm Donation Heterologous fertilisation with donor sperm is a technique in which embryos are created through in vitro fertilisation using the partner′s eggs and donor sperm. The embryos are transferred into the uterus, and any excess embryos are frozen.
    Third Level
These techniques are performed in well-defined clinical situations:
    • Microsurgical gamete retrieval from the testicle
    • Laparoscopic egg retrieval
    • GIFT; ZIFT; TET via laparoscopy These procedures require general anesthesia with intubation. They involve microsurgical gamete retrieval from the testicle, laparoscopic egg retrieval, and GIFT, ZIFT, and TET performed via laparoscopy.
    ACTIVITY
    • Assisted reproduction treatments of levels I, II, and III
    • Infertility consultation with analysis review, 3D transvaginal pelvic ultrasound, and uterine artery Doppler flowmetry
    • Analysis review with protocols for assisted reproduction treatment
    • Ultrasound monitoring of ovulation
    • Endometrial scratching/Pipelle
    • Trial transfer
    • Endometrial biopsy with plasma cell and NK cell search
    • 3D Ultrasound of the uterine cavity (Hysterosonography)
    • Ultrasound of tubal patency (Sonohysterosalpingography/HyCoSy)
    • Gynecological examination with 2D and 3D transvaginal pelvic ultrasound
    • PAP smears, HPV testing, and vaginal and cervical swabs
    • First Trimester Obstetric Ultrasound
    • Consultation and possible hormone replacement therapy
    • Non-invasive therapy with VagyCombi for female genital disorders: vaginal atrophy, vaginal dryness, vaginismus, urinary incontinence, uro-genital prolapse

    NUTRITION AND FERTILITY

Nutrition and fertility have a close correlation, so it is important to follow a healthy and balanced diet. Since nutrition is fundamental, Dr Iammarone also addresses this aspect for her patients. Following a specialisation course in this field, she can suggest the best diet to follow in correlation with gynecology.
    TREATMENTS
    Treatment of women in menopause
    Vaginal rejuvenation (Vagy Combi)
Diagnosis and treatment of lower genital tract diseases
Diagnosis and treatment of vaginal and/or pelvic infections
    TECHNOLOGY
Dr. Iammarone′s practice is equipped with cutting-edge technologies for diagnosing and treating various gynecological issues.
She performs 2D and 3D transvaginal and transabdominal pelvic ultrasounds.
She has the latest VagyCombi device, which uses radiofrequency and electroporation for pelvic floor rehabilitation and functional aesthetics.
This is a painless and non-invasive solution for women who wish to strengthen and tone their genital tissues, aiming to minimize disturbances that negatively affect both sexual activity and personal lifestyle.
It is used to treat the following conditions: urinary incontinence, uro-genital prolapse, scar tissue from spontaneous and postpartum lacerations, genital atrophy and dystrophy, vulvar lichen sclerosus, vulvodynia, libido deficiency, and vaginal dryness.
